If you have an iPhone (or iPod Touch) and haven’t heard of the “Appvent Calendar,” go check it out. Blacksmith Games has organized an advent calendar where an iPhone game is given away for free each day in December leading up to Christmas. These are games which are not normally free, and are only free [...]
Trials HD
I downloaded the Trials HD trial (heheh) yesterday. I had seen people talk about it on Twitter but I hadn’t tried it out; I thought it was just some racing game or generic 3D motorcycle game or something. It isn’t.
“When is immersion overrated?”
Damion Schubert posted the above question yesterday on his blog (Zen of Design). My answer appears to have been deleted, so I’ll write about it here. I linked to some posts on “Malstrom’s Articles” which I believed to be relevant. I should add that to the links at the right, by the way. I’ll do [...]

You might just get 3 after all, David.
So the DM, after reading the previous post, thought the part about how we believed the kids was interesting because he didn’t think it’d be figured out so quickly.
The Real Reason for DRM
Shamus Young has another interesting post about DRM on his blog, Twenty Sided. But I found the insight of one of the commenters even more interesting:
