I started reading Becoming Vegan, which aside from some questionably-presented statistics I think is very good. But then more books came in and I have put it down for the moment, first in favor of Summerhill School, which I already mentioned I finished, then for Punished by Rewards, and now for Memories of the Afterlife.
I’m feeling a bit better today; the cold symptoms are easing off and my mind is clearer. I’m a few chapters into Punished by Rewards and it is interesting, but for the past few days I’ve been too muddled to feel like reading it. I don’t know if there’s anything for me to really get out of Memories of the Afterlife, but I am enjoying reading it anyway.
And I’m having fun reading The Dresden Files to my wife. Right now we’re in the middle of Grave Peril, having gone through them at a rate of one book per week. I’ve read all of them, but I like to share and sometimes this seems like the only way to get her to go through a story I enjoy. It’s fun for me, though, so no harm done. : )
